2020 Wing Jaylon Wooten (Coffee County) Ranked PrepHoopsTN #69
Silky. Elegant. He didn’t play his best, but Wooten did show more aggression than last season. There is a new hunger to his game and the urgency is necessary for Coffee County to reach their goals in his senior season. Wooten is tougher and more assertive around the rim. His passing and handles have been better than most for the last couple years.
2020 PG Ray Tyler (Blackman) Ranked PrepHoopsTN #42
His game is so expansive. Poised. Ray is the kind of point guard that wins games and rarely lets his team lose. He just has a natural swagger that calms the team and the entire gymnasium. That is not to say that Ray can’t burst by a defender. He hit a smooth three-pointer in the flow of the game. The game against Hillwood required virtually no scoring from Ray. It was a rout.
2020 SG Jalen Page (Blackman) Ranked PrepHoopsTN #41
Hops for days. Page is incredible out on the break. His ceiling is just staggeringly high considering how athletic he is. Page keeps adding skills and will likely wind up playing college basketball a year from now. His game against Hillwood lacked the fantastic scoring punch he will frequently give throughout the season.
2022 G Julius Rhodes (Rockvale)
Hops for days. Page is incredible out on the break. His ceiling is just staggeringly high considering how athletic he is. Page keeps adding skills and will likely wind up playing college basketball a year from now. His game against Hillwood lacked the fantastic scoring punch he will frequently give throughout the season.
2020 PG Zoryn Harrington (Blackman) Ranked PrepHoopsTN #148
Speedy. Extra explosive. Harrington will give a lot more in the future. Hillwood was not a challenge and Harrington didn’t invest much in the game. His height for his position and bounce are exceptional. The Blackman Blaze feature a deeper team than last year and Harrington will be one of their best guards.
