Mutdung Bol (2020 Edmonds-Woodway)
Part of it was his motor but Bol made athletic plays all day at the Prime Time Top 40. He got to and finished plays at the rim and got up and down the floor faster than anyone. One particular dunk attempt that just missed – largely because he was fouled – would have brought the house down had he punched it in.
Dakota Reber (2020 Wilsonville)
Two plays stood out for Reber in one game – one a put-back dunk when he came flying in from seemingly nowhere, and another where he came in for a weakside block on a shot attempt. The 6-foot-5 senior is definitely an athlete who when he puts it all together on a consistent basis, will be extremely difficult to stop.
Tanner Toolson (2020 Union-WA)
Toolson exhibited sneaky athleticism as upon initial glance you would think he’s more of a shooter. The 6-foot-4 senior can certainly stroke it and he made his share of perimeter jumpers but he also got loose and threw down some impressive dunks in transition.
Elijah Munyan (2021 Gresham)
Munyan unfortunately got injured so he didn’t play in any of the scrimmage games. But the 6-foot-2 junior showed off his leaping ability during drills and especially warmups, throwing down highlight reel jams.
Marquis “Mookie” Cook (2023 Jefferson)
Cook seems to grow an inch every time we see him and the now 6-foot-6 wing measured out with a 7-foot-4 wingspan (!!). The freshman made athletic plays and a couple of offensive putback dunk attempts that failed would have certainly been highlight-reel quality had they been completed.
