Nate Barnhart, 6’9, PF/C, 2021, DeSoto @nate_barnhart
Barnhart has the potential to develop into a 3 and D big man as he has shown the ability to block shots, run the floor, has a smooth 3-point shooting stroke for a big and has improved his all-around offensive game. He has a long, rangy build and shows good timing and quickness as a shot blocker. While he will need to add strength to take advantage of his potential, Barnhart is among Kansas’ top young big men to watch in the upcoming years.
AJ Cooper, 6’0, G, 2020, Basehor-Linwood
A good shooter who knows how to get open and stay open. He has a confidence to him and takes good chances on the offensive end. He can handle the ball for himself and shows good passes when you least expect. He is an improved defensive player and shows understanding to his position.
Cory Davila, 6’5, PF, 2020, Basehor-Linwood
A promising talent for Basehor-Linwood who shows good control and the ability to score. He has quick feet, good hands and can get to the basket and connect through contact. Davila plays hard and uses his size and length well on both ends, and has the range to hit long jumper or 3-pointers. An old-school player who works hard on the block and handles contact well.
Harvey Davis Jr., 6’3, G/F, 2021, Shawnee Heights
A scorer, rebounder and a tough opponent to match up against. He has good speed and brings physicality and a hard-nosed work ethic to the floor. He is physical and can handle the ball some and looks to score close to the basket and slash and contest shots. A high value prospect who earns his playing time and makes solid plays across the boards.
Payton Hanzlik, 6’4, G/F, 2021, Leavenworth
Hanzlik is a smooth wing player who moves well off the ball and can get up the floor and score. He shows good length and gets in the passing lanes at the defensive end of the floor and can use his 6’ frame well inside and out. Also a creative passer, Hanzlik sees the floor and can create open looks for himself and others.
