Kobe Campbell, 6’0, G, 2020, Raytown South, Marcus Denmon Elite
A smooth guard who makes great moves from the point. He has a tough, hard-nosed mentality and can use his athleticism to make separation and finish on the move. He gets to the basket and can adjust his shot well and find separation. Also a promising defender who stays with the ball and forces opponent to play smart.
Taj Manning, 6’6, F, 2022, Grandview, KC Run GMC 15U. @Taj9Manning
A standout as a freshman for Grandview last season, Manning was mostly a work horse in the paint who focused on helping his high school team by doing the little things. His game is a versatile one now, making plays on the perimeter and extending the game outside. Manning can score, block shots, pin the ball on the glass and finish around the rim in transition.
Dezmond McKinney, 6’1, 2020, Raytown, Marcus Denmon Elite
An interesting player who looks to stay involved and score around an under the basket as often as he can. He a slick player with the ball in his hands and is aggressive and underrated as a prospect. McKinney gets to the basket and can break down opponents as a defender and all-around physical guard.
Reggie Morris, G, 2020, Grandview, KC RUN GMC 17 RISE
A nice guard who can connect with a hand in his face. He can look like the best shooter in the gym when he’s in the zone and he makes great decisions for himself. He has good handles and plays well as a point and scoring guard. Physical play doesn’t slow him down much, as he can find a way to get his shot and get to the free throw line as well.
Mark Cann, 6’4, F, 2020, Raytown South
Cann is a well-sized basketball player with a nice overall skill set. He can knock down a variety of shots including 3-pointers and mid-range area shots. He has a good motor and can play with the ball in his hands and moves well in half court settings in which he is asked to score.
