Xavier Kahube, 6’6, F, 2020, Fort Osage
An athletic forward, Kahube is coming off a strong junior season in which he averaged 9.2 points, 6.8 rebounds at Fort Osage and will be counted on for production as a senior this year. He runs the floor exceptionally well, can throw down slams in traffic and has a developing skill set. Kahube likes to put the ball on the floor and attack the basket off the bounce and is capable of finishing in traffic.
Riak Mabour, 6’3, F, 2020, North Kansas City
Also a football player, Mabour is a strong athlete who looks to play physical and make plays on the move. He has an eye for both sides of the floor and can stop offenses from getting inside and scoring. He’s a little undersized down low but makes up for it in a variety of hustle style plays and shot-blocking highlights.
Akoy Mangol, 6’7, G/F, 2020, North Kansas City, Carroll GoLive
Mangol is an underrated prospect with a nice feel for play under the basket. He makes excellent plays in transition and can run the floor well and has the potential to connect from a distance and around the perimeter. He has some bounce to his game and can get up and make impactful place around and above the rim.
Deone McCarthy, 6’4, G/F, 2020, Ruskin
He’s a physical combo player who has good leaping ability and a strong build. He’s a physical player and he works for his team as an inside-outside threat who can power his way to the basket and make plays off the glass. He is listed at 6’4 and brings a hungry effort to both sides of the floor.
Keitez Simmons, 6’4, G/F, 2020, Raytown, Freedom Hoops
A nice combo guard forward player who can get to the basket and sink the three pointers. He can operate with the ball in his hands and is also good at playing off the ball, coming off screens and looking for open shots. He is a quick player and has a nice first step and knows how to get around defenders and get to the basket.
Tristan Turner, 6’4, F, 2020, Fort Osage, KC Pacers
Inside out wing player who plays a lot on the perimeter. He makes smart passes who can also create some opportunities and make some special plays with and without the ball. He looks strong and makes good decisions with the ball. He fights for position and can connect from deep and make plays as a slasher.
