Prep Hoops Missouri takes a look at the upcoming season in Kansas City’s Big Six Gold.
Big Six Gold
Blue Springs (7-19, 3-7), Blue Springs South (18-9, 6-3), Lee’s Summit North (27-4, 9-0), Lee’s Summit West (7-16, 2-8), Park Hill (14-12, 4-5), Raymore-Peculiar (13-14, 4-6).
Christian Bradford, 6’3, G, 2021, Park Hill, Showtime 16U
A 6’3 athlete who has good length and shows a promising upside for a junior prospect. He has good rhythm to his game and has nice bounce and flow when he attacks the basket and looks to get around defenders. He can create with the ball and can score off screens well also.
Kolby Franklin, 6’1, G, 2020, Lee’s Summit North
A tough and physical guy who is active inside and out. He has a long build and good hands and a big motor. He rebounds well and can lock up offensive players and come away with steals and even get looks in transition.
Jordan Jermain, 6’2, G, 2020, Ray-Pec, Team KC
A nice guard who has the ability to create with his dribble and score off the bounce. He can find his shot and score several buckets in a row when he’s feeling it. He has good hands and can disrupt plays and the flow of the game at times as a defender. A scorer and facilitator who plays with and without the ball.
Najee Williams, 6’2, G, 2021 Blue Springs, Marcus Denmon Elite 16U
A nimble player who runs hard and sees time in a variety of positions. He is active in the paint and has good hands and length and can protect the basket at a high level. He can score in transition and has a strong overall frame which helps him absorb contact and finish plays off the glass and around the rim.
Cooper Willich, 5’10, G, 2020, Blue Springs
Also a football standout, Willich is a good guard who can play physical and go after the ball. He is a solid defender and looks to stay with the ball and can shoot some from a distance as well. He can make good passes and an unselfish player with the ball.
