Marlo Fox | 2021 SG | Sand Springs
Marlo FoxMarlo Fox, a 6-foot-1-inch junior from Charles Page High School (Sand Springs, OK) had a career night, shooting 3-of-3 from beyond the arc to nail down a 23-point performance in a win over Ponca City. Fox said that his work in the off-season was pivotal in bolstering his overall skill and propelled him to debuting his junior season in fantastic fashion.
“This offseason, I really wanted to get physically stronger,” Fox said, “getting in the gym early and just making sure that I stay consistent with my jump shot.”
Fox also credited Davon Richardson, his senior counterpart, for drawing the defense away from Fox.
“A lot of teams that we play are really gonna be focusing on [Richardson],” Fox said, “and so that’s just gonna leave for me to get open and create for us.”

Davon Richardson | 2020 P-F | Sand Springs
Davon RichardsonDavon Richardson was making his mark in almost every facet of the game Tuesday night. He finished with 16 points in the win, but his stat-line didn’t reveal his ability to improve the play of each of his teammates. Richardson has incomparable strength and control to his game, leading to versatility and a hellish defensive task. He can shoot the ball, score in the post, find a mid-range shot, gets steals, dominate the boards and guard almost any position on the floor, thanks to his quickness and strength.
He also credited Marlo Fox‘s improvements after the Sand Springs win.
“I feel like [Marlo and I] play off each other in a lot of ways,” Richardson said. “When I’m not going, he’s going; and when he’s not going, I’m going.”
Trey Alexander | 2021 SG | Heritage Hall
Trey AlexanderAddam Francisco (@SuaveFrancisco_) and Ross Lovelace (@Rosslovelace) caught the West-side matchup between Heritage Hall and Millwood on Tuesday night. Trey Alexander was the standout performer of the game, scoring 20 points and accounting for 11 points in the fourth quarter, alone. He also contributed 17 rebounds and 7 assists for the Chargers.
Francisco noted that Alexander appeared both “more in-control than he did last season, yet faster.“
Lovelace had a similar sentiment, stating that Alexander was “nearly unstoppable” in the fourth quarter.
Here’s an interview wit Alexander after the Chargers’ win:
Asked @TrickyTrey23 what he saw in that 4th quarter where he completely took over the game for HH.
Also asked him what part of his game he’s looking to improve on this season. pic.twitter.com/unofq56Hk1

Nehemiah Boykins | 2020 W-F | Union
Nehemiah Boykins during his junior SummerZach Cobler (@Zbc7) got to see Union’s season-opener against Bixby, where Nehemiah Boykins dropped 21 points in three quarters of play.
Cobler mentioned that Boykins was the clear-cut most valuable player for the Redskins; scoring and rebounding the ball.
“[Boykins] plays a majority of his time down low and despite being a little undersized from a traditional forward he was dominant on the inside” Cobler said. “He showed off some good post moves with the ability to finish down low.”
If you’re looking for a wing-forward in the 2020 class with all-around scoring capabilities, you may want to become acquainted with Boykins.
