#11 John Poulakidas (Neuqua Valley – 2021)
Last Year’s Rank: #30
This Neuqua Valley 6’5” small forward has one of the most pure three point strokes in the state. Elite level shooter from beyond the arc with and effortless release. Can also stop and pop with the best of them from mid-range. Crafty all-around scoring game and his athleticism continues to get better each time out!
#12 Anthony Sayles (Niles Notre Dame – 2021)
Last Year’s Rank: #11
One of the most explosive prospects in the state. The quarterback on the gridiron also runs the show on the basketball court with the way he distributes, gets to the cup with his athleticism, and pushes in the open floor with his speed. An area that he needed to work on and really has is his three point shot. Much improved over the last year.
#13 Isaiah Barnes (OPRF – 2021)
Last Year’s Rank: #13
Barnes holds his exact same spot from the previous year in the ultimate rankings. Silky smooth two guard that can get buckets across the board from a variety of levels. Size for position and a jump shot that allows him to score with such an effortless ease.
#14 Isaiah Rivera (Geneseo – 2020)
Last Year’s Rank: #10
Rivera is headed off to Colorado State to play his college basketball. This season we expect him to be one of the best scorers in the state of Illinois. Physical wing that has a crafty scoring game. Consistently sees double and triple teams in high school, but continues to score!
#15 Martice Mitchell (Bloom – 2020)
Last Year’s Rank: NR
The recent Minnesota commit is a skilled post that has legit size. Can stretch the floor with his perimeter shooting, runs the floor tremendously well, and has touch around the hoop. Big time presence as a rim runner. Defensively is where his biggest upside long term comes as he swats shots inside and covers so much ground with his mobility.
