Lance Ware skyrocketed in the nation’s rankings last season. He played his way up the ranking almost 40 spots with an incredible junior season. One of the top two players in New Jersey will look to build his name even more as a senior.

John Calipari has a long history of recruiting New Jersey talent such as Karl-Anthony Towns, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, and Isaiah Briscoe. Most recently, the Wildcats landed Khalil Whitney from Roselle Catholic and Ware will continue the tradition. Ware chose Kentucky from a final five that included Ohio State, Providence, Miami, and Michigan. The Wildcats were the clear-cut favorite to land Ware from when they offered him in July.
