Eddie Simon, Jr. 6’3″ Whitfield: An energetic 2021 wing player who was at his best when he was attacking the basket. He scored on several nice drives to the basket, including a few coast to coast forays after grabbing a defensive rebound. As one of the bigger players on the Warriors, he will cause matchup problems with his skill set as he will be often be matched up against a bigger player.
Jorden Williams 5’9″ Whitfield: A talented 2023 point guard who plays the game with a lot of poise and savvy on the court. The lefty floor general has smooth handles and can get into the lane with his quickness. He can make plays for others with his passing and court vision and can get buckets on floaters and 3-pointers.
Drew Elza 5’10” Oakville: A solidly built combo guard who did a nice job getting buckets in a variety of ways. He was very good on the drive as he had some good takes to the basket and also scored in the lane with some very effective floaters.
Zach Whaley 6’3″ Hillsboro: A versatile 2021 wing player who is comfortable playing anywhere on the perimeter. He has a nice lefty stroke from 3-point range, but he is also a solid ball handler and passer who moves well without the basketball. He does an excellent job playing well off of others.
Nick Lewis 6’1″ Whitfield: This 2023 wing player caught my eye during Warriors’ last game against Parkway South when he knocked down a couple of clutch 3-pointers in the closing moments of a close game. He displayed a smooth and confident stroke from long distance.
Joe Ware 6’8″ Oakville: A developing 2021 post player with good height and excellent length, which he puts to good use on the defensive end with his shot blocking. He is also mobile as he runs the court well. He is still a work in progress, but he has continued to improve with each year.
