Sean Dillon – New Providence – Point Guard
Hailing from New Providence, NJ, Sean Dillon is an incredible playmaker that may very well lead the State in assists during the 2019-2020 campaign. Manning the point guard position for New Providence High School, Dillon is a playmaking maestro, capable of changing the trajectory of a game without even shooting the ball. With averages of 11.2 points, 9.0 assists, and 3.4 rebounds as a Junior, Dillion will have a real shot of averaging over 10 dimes per night.
Tyje’ Kelton – Dunellen – Small Forward
Often when an athlete has a wide range of scoring capabilities such as Tyje’ Kelton, it’s easy to overlook their other talents. Kelton is one of the true all-around talents in NJ that makes everything look easy. As a Sophomore, Kelton averaged a career-best 4.9 assists per game leading Dunellen High School to a 20-7 record. With 289 career assists and Kelton entering into his senior season, it will not come as a surprise should the 6’5, 210-pound guard make his mark as one of Jerseys best dishing the basketball.
Nasir Lett – Camden – Point Guard
Constantly proving doubters wrong as a 5’10 guard often facing bigger and stronger opponents, Nasir Lett hasn’t let that interfere with his ability to create for teammates. As a junior at Camden High School, Lett’s biggest strength on offense was his ability to create for teammates, averaging 3.7 assist per contest. Perhaps no better showcase of Lett’s playmaking ability came in a February matchup against Audubon, dishing out nine assists in an 87-39 victory for Camden. Lett is due for a big season, and his playmaking will be the primary reason.
Gianmarco Arletti – Holy Cross Prep – Shooting Guard
A lot like Tyje’ Kelton, Gianmarco Arletti is a great all-around guard, capable of scoring from anywhere on the court. It’s Arletti’s great talents that make it easy to overlook his ability to pass the ball among the best in New Jersey. In 26 games as a Junior, Arletti averaged 17.2 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 3.6 assists. While leading FIBA U18 3×3 Europe Cup Qualifiers in scoring during the summer, it will be Arietti’s playmaking that will ultimately help steer Holy Cross to a good season.
Noah Farrakhan – Patrick School – Point Guard
One of the most gifted players in the entire 2020 class, Noah Farrakhan has the makeup of an elite prospect, with offers from schools including Florida and Seton Hall. The Newark product is the engine that drove IMG Academy as a real floor general with his smooth ability to handle the ball and find teammates. Transferring to Patrick School for his senior season, Farrakhan is instantly regarded as a top-five prospect in New Jersey and primed for a dynamic senior season. Farrakhan may end his high school basketball career as the best passer in the State.
