Farmville vs. Greenfield: These two programs aren’t far from each other in proximity but both have been very successful over the years, including winning state championships last year. Farmville features 2020 Guard Justin Wright and 2021 Guard Terquavion Smith, both who have already completed their recruitment with commitments. Greenfield features 2020 Wake Forest Signee Dji Bailey as well as Unsigned Senior Guard Creighton Lebo and Forward Trey Pittman, both who are very much under recruited at this point.
Moravian Prep Guard Jamahri Harvey returns home! Any time you have a player returning to his hometown to play, you have to be excited for them and their family. Harvey played his middle school and high school basketball career in Fayetteville but decided to finish out his career at Moravian. He’s a legit D1 prospect with MM/HM offers and plenty of programs interested in his services.
Trinity vs Piedmont Classical: TCS will look to bounce back from a loss earlier in the week to VCA but they will have a tough challenge in Piedmont Classical. TCS will look to Senior Forward Todd Burt and Sophomore Guard Cam Oates to provide a nice amount of scoring. Piedmont Classical features 2020 Guard Trent McIntyre and 2021 Guard Jamari Thomas who both can score the ball at nice level and defend just as well as they play offensively.
Word of God looks to gain national respect: The Holy Rams have a matchup with Huntington Prep on Friday night, a program that has seen quite a bit of success on the national level over the years. Featuring top 2020 prospect Isaiah Todd as well as 2022 D1 prospects in Khalil Marshall & Po King, the Holy Rams definitely have the firepower to run with some of the nations best.
NC state recent commits Shakeel Moore and Josh Hall will be players that fans want to see! Hall was one of the nations top unsigned seniors before coming off the boards and can absolutely fill it up scoring wise. Moore is one of the better two way players in the state, his athleticism catches attention but he is an outstanding on ball defender.
