In just a few days the class of 2023 will make their high school debuts. In these coming days its best we all get acquainted with some prospects likely to have an impact from day one. Below is list of names that will be on many coach’s scouting reports.
Holland has proved he’s a force to be reckoned with in the class of 2023. He’s performed well in high-level games and camps. Each game he brings his effort and motor making an impact through dirty work and collecting boards. When he flashes his potential, he becomes a dangerous combo forward with all the length and athleticism you could ask for in a prospect.
Jones is a sharpshooting combo guard with size for the position. After a top 5 ranking at the Pangos Sophomore Freshman camp, he’s stamped for a bright future. His point guard skills will develop heavily as he earns more responsibility with his high school team.
Bizjack is a high volume three-point shooter with a high-efficiency clip. A 6-3 wing with a chiseled frame, the ball doesn’t stick thanks to his ability to see the floor.
Mosley is a terror in tennis shoes. 6-5 with a slight frame and developing confidence this freshman is ready to handle high level ball. He’s athletic, a smooth shooter, and a tough multidimensional defender. He’s even showed some takeover ability during the preseason while his team’s offense started to sputter. He took the team on a ten point run while finishing around and connecting on jumpers.
McBride is a 6-5 ball of potential. Labeled as a combo forward but best served as a ball handler. He’s long with a tight handle and a promising court vision passing combination. Once his coordination catches up to his frame.
Keller might be one of the most talented scorers in Texas’ 2023 class. At the Prep Hoops event in October, he consistently scored at all three levels and that production followed him to the Pangos camp. Thanks to his stocky frame he absorbs contact with ease. He makes in game adjustments without being coached evident by how quickly he changed his game against older competition.
Steffe is an incredibly polished player who knows how to win games. He’s developed a pace and IQ that allows him to make everything he does look easy. He doesn’t force plays but also can take over games as a scorer. Drew makes an impact as an on-ball and off-ball creator.
