Kayden Carter | Norman North | 2021 | 6’5 | F
Carter brought down double-digit rebounds in Norman North’s first scrimmage of the day. He was a beast on the offensive glass and was rewarded with easy putback layups. The big man will be key to the success of this Norman North team.
Tobias Rowland | Putnam City North | 2021 | 6’4 | G
Rowland’s ability to take the ball off a miss, bring it in transition and make the right play separates him from the rest of his class. His size and agility make him a very unique player, and he has learned how to use it to his advantage. Expect Rowland to grow into a leadership role and thrive at PCN.
Josh Nwankwo | Putnam City North | 2021 | 6’5 | F
Nwankwo showed off his length and athleticism in the Elite 14 Showcase. Surrounded by guards ready to push in transition, he was able to pull down rebounds and hit his man for an outlet to start pushing downhill. With a great frame to build into, Nwankwo will continue to put on muscle in the weight room as the season approaches.
Jan Njock | Trinity Prep | 2021 | 6’5 | G
The big guard was ready to crash the glass and do what he had to do for the success of his team. Once he got the outlet pass off to a teammate he ran very well in transition. He was able to fill gaps properly and displayed a high basketball IQ around the rim, getting to an open spot easy for his teammates to find him.
Matthew Stone | Kingfisher | 2021 | 6’4 | G
Stone brought the intensity Saturday and played with a chip on his shoulder, to say the least. He crashed the glass on the offensive and defensive end, boosting the motor of Kingfisher. Stone was able to bring the ball up the court and score, kick out and slow things down depending on the situation presented to him.
