Ladies and gentlemen, the time is finally upon us. The high school basketball season is here and fortunately for us, we cover it in arguably the best area in the world. This will be the last DMV Roundtable until we are back on here talking about some ACTUAL GAMES.

1. Who are two underrated teams in the DMV that might not be getting enough attention heading into the season?

Giacubeno: Two that come to mind here are Glenelg Country and John Carroll. Glenelg Country has a solid number of experienced seniors in point guard Noah Charles, wing Jordan Brathwaite and guard Igor Yoka-Bratasz. 2021 forward Cole Paar is a high IQ big that can operate effectively from the high-post. 2022 Noah Batchelor made himself into a nationally known name with his performances at USA Basketball Mini Camp this summer. It wouldn't surprise me to see this team make a significant improvement in the MIAA A Conference.

John Carroll will be another team that takes the next step after dealing with an extremely young roster last year. They have a handful of players who will build off their successes such as 2022 guard Tyson Commander, 2022 forward Cesar Tchilombo and 2021 guard
