In this article, we will be taking a look at the Desert Southeast. MVP and all-conference team selections are based on last season’s production and this season’s potential.
Conference Champs: Liberty – Could go either way here, between Coronado and Liberty, but I’m going to give the nod to the Patriots. They have a stud in Gonzaga recruit, Julian Strawther, outside shooting, and a low post presence in rising C/O 2022 stud, Joshua Jefferson.
MVP: Julian Strawther 6’6 SF Liberty 2020 (#2 2020) – This should be one of the most competitive races in the state. I think Strawther holds off all-world guard Jaden Hardy, in both the conference and MVP race.
Top Unsigned Senior: Felix Reeves 6’5 SF Coronado (#16 2020)
Top Underclassmen: Joshua Jefferson 6’6 PF Liberty (#3 2022)
Sleeper: Drake Booker 6’2 PG Foothill 2021 (#15 2021)
Sleeper Team: Foothill – The Falcons are the defending champs and have a deep, confident team.
Game of the year: 2/7/20 Coronado vs Liberty – This could be the game of the year in the state.

Jaden Hardy 6’4 PG Coronado 2021 (#1 2021)
