Nick Blake 6’6 SF Durango/IMG |UNLV| (featured image) – Blake relocated to IMG Academy in Florida for his senior season, however, he is a Vegas kid at heart. The explosive wing is the jewel of the Rebels 2020 recruiting class. He has the physicality and skill set to step in and contribute immediately.
Daishen Nix 6’5 PG Trinity International |UCLA| – Nix is viewed by many as the best PG in the class of 2020. He is a generational passer that is able to see the floor frames ahead. With his size and strength, he’s able to get into the lane and finish or see over the defense and find the open man. He is the first major recruit for new Bruin head coach Mick Cronin.
Julian Strawther 6’6 SF Liberty |Gonzaga| – Strawther is a prototypical college wing that posses the size, and athletic ability to be explosive at the college level. Gonzaga is the perfect fit for him, they have a history of developing unknown players. If they can do the same with a recruit of Strawther’s level then he has a chance to be one of the best Zags in history.
Noah Taitz 6’3 SG Bishop Gorman |Stanford| – Taitz gets typecast as a standstill shooter. In reality, he is a willing defender and explosive athlete. A high IQ player that doubles as a great teammate he should be a key piece to Stanford’s goal of getting back to the NCAA tournament.
Donavan Yap 6’2 SG Arbor View |UNLV| – Yap is a bucket. One of the top scorers in the state is a key piece to the Rebels recruiting class. Yap can create his own shot, or knockdown shots in catch and shoot action. For years UNLV avoided recruiting local players, now with the addition of Yap and the aforementioned Nick Blake, coach Otzelberger has shown that keeping players home is a priority.
