Robert Martin 5’9″ CBC: The talented 2022 point guard combines with UNC commit Caleb Love to form a tremendous starting backcourt for the Cadets. Martin is an offensive weapon with his speed, quickness and ability run the pick and roll. He can shoot the ball from 3-point range, but he stop and pop from the middle area is also very effective.
Jonathan Brown 6’0″ Hazelwood East: A smooth lefty 2021 combo guard who had an excellent day shooting the basketball. He moves well without the ball to get to the open spots to get his jumper off. He is also an effective ball handler with crafty moves with the ball.
Mikhail Abdul-Hamid 6’4″ CBC: The 2022 marksman was one of the top performers on the day with his 3-point shooting throughout all three scrimmages. He is getting bigger and stronger while while his perimeter stroke remains pure. He did an excellent job of playing off his teammates and getting to the open spots and making himself available at all times.
Larry Hughes, Jr. 6’4″ CBC: The 2022 wing can really knock down shots from well beyond the 3-point line on the regular, but he also displayed other facets of his game. He was active on the offensive boards and had a couple of nice tip ins at the basket. He also had some solid takes to the basket.
Will Gurley 6’6″ John Burroughs: A very impressive 2022 post who showcased a versatile skill set throughout the day. He has a good shooting touch that extends out to the perimeter. He also displayed the ability to make plays with his ball handling and passing skills. He is lone and that came in handy with a couple of blocked shots.
Anand Dharmarajan 5’10” John Burroughs: A 2022 combo guard who played a very confident game with his ball handling and 3-point shooting. He is slight of build, but displayed some nice escape moves off the dribble, including a few excellent hesitation moves to get to the basket.
