He knocked down shots from midrange and well beyond the three point line without hesitation, overall he was a difficult player to defend once he settled down and played his game. Don’t be surprised to see him putting up more big time numbers as the season goes on which should help to raise his stock recruiting wise.
Cape Fear 2020 Guard Jamael Carter: His play early on is what truly got his team going as he started off on fire from three point land which helped CFCA to build an early lead. As the game went on his ability to be able to facilitate and run a squad took over as he would go on to finish with 18 points and double digit assist.
Wilson Prep 2021 Forward Eric Wynn: Foul trouble caused him to miss quite a bit of time during this game but we liked what we saw from him. Overall he has a nice skillset with the ability to play with his back to the basket as well as step out and knock down the trey ball, college coaches should be putting his name on their list immediately.
Wilson Prep 2021 Wing Omarreyon Johnson: One of the more intriguing prospects that we saw throughout the day, he has the size at 6’6 as well as a wingspan that catches your attention. Although he didn’t have his greatest showing in the 2nd half, he was solid in the first half, showing flashes of how good he can possibly be.
Cape Fear 2020 Forward Jeremyah McWilliams: D3 and JC programs have offered recently and you don’t have to watch for a long time to understand why. He’s playing with the aggressiveness that we like to see from him, every time he touches the ball in the paint, he’s looking to finish strong above the rim. He may have had the highlight play of the day as he threw down a two hand dunk over a defender that got the fans out of their seats.
Cape Fear 2021 Forward Paul Tako: This was our first opportunity to get to see him play and he was very impressive as he has a nice overall skillset. His three point shooting and rebounding were the areas where he made the most impact as he finished with 18 points and double-digit rebounding.
Wilson Prep 2022 Guard Adrian Land: ‘‘Hand down, man down’’ is the best way to describe his game, if you don’t contest his three point shot, you can go ahead and tally it as a made bucket. He knocked down three treys in the second half and finished with 12 points as he was instrumental in the run that the team made in the 2nd half.
Cape Fear 2020 Guard Greg Moneymaker: First of all, he has one of the coolest names on the roster of either team without a doubt, but he showed that he’s more than just a name. His shooting ability and overall intensity that he brings to the table are definitely attributes that you love to have from a teammate.
