Emmert was all over the court for Norman this weekend. He played well throughout the day and was one of Norman’s best players. He was active on both sides of the court and his ability to get boards on both sides of the ball provided a spark for Norman. It gave them extra opportunities on offense and made sure that the opposition did not get extra chances. Emmert was physical and had the ability to attack the rebound at his peak.
Jeff Nwanko 2021 PC North Wing
Nwanko has a good frame with a lot of length that allows him to be good down on the blocks. He uses his frame well and works hard to be able to get boards. Nwanko also has a lot of athleticism which helps all aspects of his game. He can play fast but in control with an ability to see the game come to him naturally. His rebounding ability is also helped by his ability to get up. He can sky over different players with his ability to get boards.
Aaron Potter 2022 Owasso Guard
Potter works hard as a guard to get boards. He will not be the tallest player on any court this year but that does not stop him from having a knack to be able to find the rebound. He reads the bounce of the basket well and uses this knowledge to be in a good position to get the board. Potter has a lot of potential and he will be important to Owasso this season moving forward.
Rondel Walker 2020 Putnam City West Guard
Walker was one of the most dominant players this weekend in almost all aspects of the game. He is a star player that plays like he is still trying to earn his spot. He is always working hard and has the ability to affect the game in so many different ways. Walker attacks the boards and his length helps him come away with rebounds with ease. When he gets a board it helps Putnam City West start the transition really fast as well.
Brock Davis 2020 Holland Hall Wing
Davis is the best player on a good Holland Hall team. He has the biggest frame and uses it well. He can bang down low with his strength or step out to the perimeter and knock down the shot. However, his physicality gives him an advantage when it comes to getting the rebound. Davis does not get pushed around on the inside and has become great at the small fundamentals like blocking out. He works hard on both sides of the ball and gets a lot of offensive boards to give his team more opportunities to score.
