There are a ton of committed prospects, but still quality group of players that have not found their college homes yet. We will break each group down by position. Here are the Best Available 2020 Power Forwards.
Sam Schultz (Oswego East)
Overall Rank: #22
Top uncommitted post in the state of Illinois. Schultz has legit size and strength on the interior. Skilled game with his back to the basket being able to use his footwork, touch, and strength inside to score. Can also shoot it a little from mid-range and put it on the deck from 15 feet. Look for more low-majors to get involved as the season goes on.
Aaron Tims (Hinsdale South)
Overall Rank: #33
Tims is a bouncy power forward that is best getting on the offensive glass for second chance opportunities. One of the quickest athletes in the class. Runs the floor well as a rim runner for scores. Improved mid-range jump shot. Plays with a lot of energy on both ends of the floor.
Kee Hargrow (Hyde Park)
Overall Rank: #38
Hargrow is a broad shouldered, strong, and athletic four man. He is still raw skill wise, but is so intriguing with his athleticism and playing above the rim. Defensive presence with versatility to guard multiple positions. JUCO candidate.
Sincere Callwood (Simeon)
Overall Rank: #58
Callwood will be one of the main interior presences for the Wolverines this upcoming season. He is a junk yard dog four man that excels as a rebounder and playing with physicality in the paint.
Damontae Taylor (Zion Benton)
Overall Rank: #60
Long and lanky combo forward with an extremely projectable frame. The 6’7” forward runs the floor with fluidity and throws down poster dunks. Raw tools to work with!
RJ Holmes (Stevenson)
Overall Rank: #62
Holmes is a Stevenson four man that is a sound rebounder. He knows how to grab them in traffic. Offensively he has mobility and some versatility.
Justin Cross (OPRF)
Overall Rank: #63
Long and rangy left handed power forward that brings versatility on both ends of the floor. Like his potential on the defensive end being able to switch and guard across the board. Offensively he runs the floor hard and has touch in the paint. Cross told PHI that he will reclass to 2021 and go to prep school next season.
Tremear Fraley (Bogan)
Overall Rank: #70
Fraley is a well-built power forward that will be an anchor inside for the Bengals this season defensively and on the glass.
Kendale Anderson (Leo)
Overall Rank: #73
Anderson is one of the better rebounders in the class. He snatches them with both hands and uses his strength to clear space.
Sangolay Njie (Whitney Young)
Overall Rank: #74
Njie will have an opportunity to shine as a senior for the Dolphins who will desperately need him to step up. He has all the physical tools and should be the primary power player for Whitney Young.
Romelle Howard (Lincoln Park)
Overall Rank: #75
Howard has nice height and strength at the power forward spot. He rebounds well in his area and finishes with power around the hoop.
Jackson Connor (Marion)
Overall Rank: #84
Connor is a face up four that likes to play from the outside-in. He can shoot it from three and is solid at putting it on the deck.
Griffin Andricks (Central A&M)
Overall Rank: #90
Tough and gritty central Illinois power forward that rebounds very well and converts through traffic on the interior.
