#1 DaRon Holmes 6’9 2021 F & Justus Jackson 5’10 2021 G (Millennium)
DaRon and Justus have to be the most talented duo in 5A. Both have received multiple D1 offers and are only getting better each and every day. I also feel like they compliment each other nicely but could definitely excel without each other as well. I think that is a perfect duo, they thrive together but can exist on their own as well.
#2 Carson Basham 6’10 2021 F & Xzavier Lino 6’6 2020 G (Sunnyslope)
Size. Size. Size. That is the story of Sunnyslope. I really like this duo pairing in the backcourt and front court because you don’t give up much size. It’s pretty nice to be coach Portela when you have that much size between your guard and center!
#3 Dominic Gonzalez 6’3 2020 G & Trent Hudgens 6’0 2020 G (Ironwood)
Gonzalez and Hudgens are one of the best scoring duos in 5A. They can both absolutely light it up, especially from down town! I am very interested to see how much damage this duo can do once Hudgens is back on the court!
#4 Zeke Thompkins 6’6 2020 F & Paris Woods 6’5 2021 G (Apollo)
Thompkins and Woods are another nice sized pairing, like Slope. This duo doesn’t have as much size as that duo but then again who does. Thompkins and Woods provide a lot of versatility for their squad due to their skill and size off the wings and backcourt.
