Prep Hoops takes a look at some players who made quite a First Impression on us this week. The opening week of the basketball has started here in the Palmetto State. These players in the 2022 Class will be names you will see in the new rankings in the months to come.

Jamario Taylor

Jamario Taylor (2022) - Latta HS

Taylor was a pleasant surprise for the Vikings in a win over Lamar HS. Taylor scored 18 points and showed great activity around the basket. Taylor is a wide receiver/defensive back on the football field. Taylor could lean towards football down the road - which I for sure could see. Taylor recorded 21 receptions this season and even played some quarterback at times. Taylor has great bounce and just plays the game with aa great motor.

Trey McManus (2022) - Boiling Springs HS (pictured on front)

McManus plays for his father Hal McManus at Boiling Springs HS. McManus scored 21 points in a tough loss to Seneca HS. McManus has a sweet stroke from behind the arc and plays the game like coach's son on the floor. McManus
