Many top notch 6A-2A teams plus standout preps and CAA schools. It was great seeing much variety from all across the state as far out as Yuma, AZ (Gila Ridge HS).
Here were some more of the top unsigned juniors and three sophs:
Jamison Kay SG/CG 6’3 Gila Ridge (pictured)
-Long and lean skilled scoring combo guard. He isn’t a true PG but has a great pace to his game and makes plays for his teammates. He is more of a natural two who is a very good passer. His best skill is his deep 3pt shot. He can create his own shot with a nice crossover.
Jake TenBerge SF 6’5 PHH Prep
-Highly skilled and effective shooter. Rebounds well in his area and has a super high IQ. Moves smartly without the ball and makes good decisions with the ball. His mid-range jumper is pure and he is a very good 3pt shooter.
Dimitrius “Zay” Harris PF 6’4 1/2 Glenview College Prep
-A grown kid is a powerful inside player that plays really hard. He is fairly athletic and uses his girth and strength to rip through and get to the cup. He is an almost all paint scorer and he could extend his range moving forward. He plays fiercely and rebounds in and out of his area.
Myles Hersha PF/C 6’8 Salpointe Catholic
-Long and lean player is a good runner and is a skilled finesse forward/center. He can block shots in the post and shoot it to the 3pt line and in. He keeps the ball high on rebounds and his shooting stroke and length make him one to track.
Jake Hahn SG 6’2 Desert Mountain
-One of the better catch shooters in his class has perfect form. He has a high release and a quick trigger plus squares up like you should. He is a smart player that moves well without the ball and can make plays for others.
Brady Ramon SG 6’1 Salpointe Catholic
-Tough no nonsense scoring guard is fearless. He gets into the teeth of the defense with a nice handle and has a very consistent shot from the perimeter. He can hit from mid to the 3pt line and rebounds well in his area. He won’t ever get the big headlines but is one of the glue guys for the team.
Tommy Irish SF 6’3 Salpointe Catholic
-Strong burly forward has a lot of skill. He uses his girth and strength to rebound inside and has a consistent shooting stroke from mid to the 3pt line. He is yet another important piece to the puzzle for the Lancers.

Dominic Capriotti SG 6’3 Skyline
-Arguably the top catch shooter in the state from his class. He rattled off 5 3’s vs the top Dream City team which included 4 in a row. He can hit a runner and is starting to handle the ball a little better then last year. He is best just catching and shooting with a quick release and has a high IQ. The crazy thing is he that he played that game with a sprained ankle.
Jordan Stevens SF 6’2 Gila Ridge (pictured)
-Physical forward likes to bang inside and use his girth and wider shoulders to his advantage. He can also face-up from the perimeter and handles the ball fairly well. He is a perfect compliment next to Kay. This duo will be tough to handle the next two years.
Julian Riesgo PG 5’8 Salpointe Catholic
-Undersized tough scoring PG who is highly skilled. He has a smooth stroke from the 3pt line and was very consistent with it this weekend. He has a tighter handle and a nice burst. When Evan Nelson graduates, look for him to take the reigns of the team.
