Skylar Wilson- G/F 6’6 Eaglecrest
Skylar, after a huge summer, has proven that he belongs at the top of his class in Colorado. A lot of the teams he played against, on the Adidas Gauntlet, backed off him at the three point line but quickly learned their lesson. He can make contested threes with ease and has a nice set of moves that can help him get open. Also, he can score inside off the dribble. Skylar is one of those guys who plays better around better players, and with a very talented Eaglecrest squad it should open up many scoring opportunities for him.
Brody Gish- SG 6’0 Doherty
Brody is a guy who impacts the game by playing his role very well. He is a guy who can hit open shots and come off screens for shots. This Doherty team is a sleeper team for me this year and one reason is because they have shooters and Brody is one of the best!
Tayzhean Archuleta- SG 6’5 Harrison
Tayzean is a player who I believe is going to hop on the scene big time this year. Once he gets hot it seems he cannot miss. He is a player who can get open with shifty moves and has no problem hitting contested shots off the dribble. Tayzean and this stacked Harrison team are definitely a team to look out for to dominate 4A.
Tom Connelly- SG 6’3 East
If you put Tom in a three point contest he would most likely win. He is a knockdown shooter who did not have a big role last year, but should see more time this year, which should lead to some high scoring games for him. Against Northfield last year he dropped a season high 26 points, most of the points being threes. He is a great set shooter, watch out for him and this East squad.
AJ Kula- SG 6’5 Valor Christian
AJ has a lot of potential, he is a good athlete with a wet jumper. This is another player who can hop onto the scene his Junior season. The best part of his game is his outside shot, he can hit shots off the dribble or catch and shoot. He is also an athletic player who if he puts all his skills together could be one of the top guys in his class.
Quint Geck- G 6’1 Rock Canyon
Quint is the player I think just might be the best shooter in this class. One time he had a 40 point game in a semifinal for the Colorado Cardinals, he can straight up score! He is a guy who does not have elite handles, but a crafty set of moves to get separation for shots; also he is a great set shooter.
