Lexington HS 2020 Forward Alex Holt: His play over the last year has been quite impressive which has a led to a nice amount of D1 and D2 programs showing interest and offering. His scoring is an attribute that is appreciated but what truly sets him apart his how well he can rebound the ball on both ends of the floor. Last season he finished #2 in the state in rebounds with 14 boards a night to go along with his 13 PPG
Wilson Prep 2022 Forward Eric Wynn: The youngest player in the top three of RPG last season in the state at 13 per game, Wynn is without a doubt a player that has D1 potential. His ability to play inside and out offensively as well being a pretty solid defender in the post without fouling are all things that we really like about his game.
Purnell Swett 2020 Forward Xavier Jones: He’s one of the shorter players on the list but he flat out gets it done with how hard he plays as well as using his strength. At 12.6 RPG he finished last season at #7 in the state and was a double/double machine as he averaged 18 PPG, doing all this while only standing at about 6’2/6’3.
West Columbus 2021 Forward Brandis Kelly: A multi-sport athlete that is already seeing some D1 schools drop in and check him out on the football field, Kelly is a player that has been a force in his first few years at WCHS. He’s agile with good hands and doesn’t playing through contact at all, with just over 12 RPG last season, he finished in the top 10 in the state for Rebounds per game.
Washington County 2020 Guard Deandre Downing: At about 6’6 with a long wingspan, he’s one of those guards that will catch your attention early and often. He uses his height advantage to not only score over smaller guards but also to mix it up with Forwards and Centers to pull down 12 boards a night last season.
John Paul II 2020 D’andre Ervin: High motor, athleticism, strength, and proper positioning are all things that help him rebound the ball at a high level. He’s another player that doesn’t necessarily have the height that you would see in a leading rebounder but he has the intangibles that allow him to be a very efficient rebounder at 12.3 per game although he’s only about 6’3.
