Therefore, we can track the leaders among the best at a position in a statistical category. Here are the top returning rebounding centers in Idaho prep hoops.
Day Day Higgins
The 6’7” Higgins leads the group of returning centers by pulling down 5.6 carroms a game. His height bodes well for him to rise up the leaderboard in rebounding among all positions, but he will need to improve his aggression and anticipation. His numbers improved as the season progressed, suggesting he had done exactly that due to experience.
Kolten LaFleur
Kolten stands an unremarkable 6’3”, which is tall for an everyday human, but not for a basketball center. Despite his stature, he managed 4.2 rebounds per game. He is a junior with room to grow and could make a jump this year.
Hunter Hansen
The 6’5” Hansen has a good length, but need to improve his positioning, strength and anticipation to improve on his 3.5 boards per outing.
Steven Rameriz
At 6’3” Rameriz isn’t a towering figure, but he is strong and uses his base to keep opponents away from missed shots. His senior season should show an improvement on his 1.9 rebounds per game.
