Conference Commentary
Potential Top Ten: Albany, Cathedral
Albany won the league a year ago and has two of the best juniors in the league with Andrew Hahn and Nolan Reuter returning. Hahn is a frontcourt player while Reuter can play both guard spots, plus a few seniors return as well. St. Cloud Cathedral lost three starters but brings back two double figures scorers and all of their bench.
Compete with Most: Zimmerman, Becker, Little Falls, Mora
The Thunder from Zimmerman have one of the top scorers in the league in Carter McEachern but the rest of last year’s team was seniors. The Bulldogs from Becker should improve on the ten win season from a year ago with three starters returning to their team. Little Falls has three double figure capable players that return but also a couple starters that must be replaced. Andrew Rasmussen should lead Mora to a step forward.
Rebuilding: Foley, Milaca
The Foley group that was 13-14 last year lost all but one player from their rotation so matching last year’s record will be ton. Milaca is in a similar spot as Foley but they have a few more players with experience.
