Emorie KnoxEmorie Knox will play next season in the Big South Conference at Charleston Southern University. Knox recently picked the Buccaneers after visiting the campus. Knox has played the past 3 summers with Upward Stars Southeast 2020. Knox has been a staple in the back court for Head Coach Craig Martin at Myrtle Beach HS. Knox a point guard will look to lead a very deep Seahawks team this season. Knox is ranked #12 in the 2020 Palmetto State Class Rankings.
Knox has scored 1,050 career points entering his senior season. Knox averaged 16.5 ppg and 5.2 assists last season for the Seahawks.
Kaleb MackKaleb Mack (2020) has transferred from Legacy Early College to Mauldin HS. Mack 6’2 point guard is zoned for the Mavericks and attended Mauldin HS back during his freshman season. Mack is currently ranked #15 in the newest 2020 Palmetto State Class Rankings. Mack will help the Mavericks look to challenge the Dorman HS Cavaliers this season in the Upstate. Mack recently played in the Prep Hoops Top 250 Expo in Easley.
Case Roach (2020) has picked up a few more offers recently from North Georgia University and Mars Hill University (NC). Both programs are NCAA D2 schools. Roach 6’5 had a great summer playing for Traveler’s Rest HS and Upward Stars Upstate . Roach comes in at #17 in the latest Prep Hoops 2020 Palmetto State Class Rankings.
Jalen CoitJalen Coit has really piled up some points over the years at Cheraw HS. Coit a left-handed guard will look to take a visit to the University of Louisville for football this weekend according to a source. Coit didn’t play any Grassroots basketball this spring and summer. Coit plays wide receiver for the Braves (4-1) football team.
Prep Hoops will be working on its schedule for the season in the weeks to come. Last season Prep Hoops saw just over 200 teams play during the season between SCHSL and SCISA.
