Jaylen Boyd 6’1″ Ladue: The Class of 2020 point guard scored 25 points and came up with a lot of big plays during his team’s victory in the semifinals. He used his strength to get downhill and power his way into the lane for buckets on a consistent basis. When he gets to his dominant left hand, he is hard to keep out of the lane and he is an excellent finisher.
Elijah Bishop 6’7″ Soldan: A solid 2020 power forward with a big body and a full arsenal of post moves in the paint. He came through with some key buckets and put-backs down the stretch in a double-overtime victory. He uses his big body to get great position and he can score with a variety of moves in the post. He has an excellent drop step, a jump hook and a nice turnaround jumper.
Dejuan Fields 6’0″ Miller Career Academy: A 2021 shooting guard who scored 15 points in the semifinals. He is a potent offensive player who has the ability to get buckets in many different ways. He has a quick first step to attack the basket and score on layups and short jumpers. He can knock down open 3-pointers and he can also get out and score in the transition game.
Anand Dharmanrjan 5’10” John Burroughs: This 2022 sharpshooter really opened up some eyes in the semifinals when he scored a game-high 30 points in his team’s double-overtime victory. He opened up the game with a 3-pointer and he continued to shoot the ball with a lot of confidence as he made seven treys during the game. He can really shoot it from distance when he gets a good look.
Eddie Simon 6’3″ Whitfield: A 2021 wing man with good size and a solid skill set, Simon was good at attacking the basket off the dribble and he also had a solid mid-range jumper. He is a good rebounder from the guard position with his size and desire to get to the ball.
