“I feel like I’m able to go past anybody. I just like to create. Get everybody in the right spots. Play from there,” Johnson told Prep Hoops. “My role will involve mostly just scoring. But I like to make plays and I’m very vocal.”
Johnson explained that he’s been in the weight room five times a week this offseason to improve his strength. While he’s already a good shooter, he’s also continuing to work on the consistency of his shooting.
“I’ve heard from Robert Morris, Richard Bland, a lot of JuCO’s,” he said in regards to recruiting. “My goals are to win the county championship, be the best player in my conference, get to states and win.”
What can Johnson bring to a college program?
“Leadership and scoring.”
