Prep Hoops Kansas takes a look at the upcoming season in the Wichita City League.

Grant Johnson, 6’1, G, 2021, Kapaun Mt Carmel

Johnson impressed this summer on the Wichita Padres, showing his defensive presence on the ball and his knack for coming away with steals. He has a good eye for plays and can find his rhythm and connect from almost anywhere on the floor. He can outsmart opponents when he takes the ball inside or stop and shoot before they get a chance to contest his shot. 

Jackie Johnson, 5’10, PG, 2021, Southeast

An all-around problem for opponents when he has the ball in his hands, Johnson is a walking bucket who can connect from anywhere on the floor. He is quick on his feet and looks to get inside and score. He can connect from distance but prefers to break
