Western Athletic Conference (WAC)
Dodge City (12-10, 4-4), Garden City (17-5, 6-1), Great Bend (9-13, 4-4), Hays (9-12, 4-4), Liberal (10-11, 1-7)
Carlos Acosta, 5’10, G, 2020, Garden City
A hard-nosed two-way player who can use his frame to his advantage. He is a physical guard who has great speed and solid handles. He can get inside and finish and gets to the free throw line. Acosta can score from outside as well and shows good vision and makes smart passes.
Trey Adams, 6’7, F, 2021, Hays
Adams has terrific size and a nice feel for inside. He looks to stay active on both sides of the floor and can use his length and overall size to his advantage. He boxes out well and can get touches and finish plays around the rim. He’s listed at 6’7 and has an opportunity to continue the growth of his game.
Beau Foster, 6’0, F, 2020, Dodge City
Known for his work on the football field, Foster is a hard working do-everything performer on the hardwood who does a little bit of everything well. He can block shots, rebounds well and can free himself under the basket for easy chances. He is a little undersized but he outworks his opponents and brings an all-around physicality and athleticism to the floor which shows up on both sides of the floor.
Aaron Guevara, 5’10, G, 2020, Garden City
An all-around guard who can handle the ball and score for his team. He runs the floor well and looks to get out in transition and back on defense on the opposite side. He does whatever his team needs and shows good athleticism as well. Also a football player, Guevera brings good hustle and some needed physicality on the perimeter and occasionally inside
Hunter Hatcher, 6’1, G, 2020, Liberal
Hatcher averaged 7.4 points and 3.7 rebounds per game last season and made 28 3-pointers, second on the team. He and his brother Lee Hatcher, recently put together a strong performance at the Prep Hoops 250 Expo in Kansas City and Hunter sees a lot of time due to his versatility as a ball handler, spot up shooter and on ball creator. He can also get inside some and shows a good stroke from the free throw line.
Lee Hatcher, 6’0, G, 2020, Liberal
Lee Hatcher will be looking to put together a breakout senior season after playing in 10 games last season in which he averaged 7.6 points per game. Lee has a strong frame, and like his brother, understands how to play smart, unselfish basketball all while keeping his eyes open for an easy basket or an open lane.
