Frontier League
Baldwin (1-20, 0-11), Bonner Springs (20-3, 10-0), Eudora (10-10, 5-5), KC Piper (21-4, 8-1), Louisburg (9-14. 5-7), Ottawa (12-9, 7-2), Paola (6-16, 3-8), Spring Hill (13-11, 5-5), Tonganoxie (10-12, 3-8)
Dallas Bond, 6’4, F, 2021, Tonganoxie
Also a standout football prospect, Bond is a strong, physical post presence who works hard for position and looks to score on the block. He averaged 13 points and 5.8 rebounds per game last season as a sophomore and shot 53 percent from the field.
Cade Gollier, 6’3, G, 2020, Ottawa
A floor general and facilitator who is also a smart shooter who can connect from a distance. He is an oversized point guard who has the ability to play off the ball as well. He has good handles and runs well and looks to get involved inside some as well. He brings physicality to the perimeter and is also good at spotting mismatches and scoring off them.
Justin Fawcett, 6’6, F, 2021, Eudora
Fawcett impressed us this summer playing with the Kansas Cagers as he shows good size, length and agility. He runs the floor well, battles hard in the paint defensively and can get on the glass for easy put backs or run the floor in transition.
Alex Johnson, 6’5, G/F, 2020, Spring Hill
A combo player for Spring Hill who has good speed and shows a strong work ethic. He plays hard on defense and looks to contest shots and protect the basket. Johnson can score for himself and shows the ability to stretch the floor with his play on the perimeter, a player who can get to the hole as a slasher as well as connect from downtown when open and feeling confident.
Madden Rutherford, 6’4, F, 2020, Louisburg
Also the school’s quarterback on the football field, Rutherford is a scrappy, do-everything type for the Wildcats on the hardwood. He can knock down an outside shot, score around the basket and runs the floor exceptionally well. Defensively he shows good agility and can defend multiple positions, guard out on the perimeter a little or blocking shots and protecting the basket in the paint.
Michael Waldron, 6’2, G/F, 2020, Louisburg
A strong, physical player who serves as the tight end on the football team, Waldron brings some all-around skills to the hardwood. He can handle the ball a little, lead the break in transition, get on the boards and has a smooth outside shooting stroke. Waldron showed the ability to knock down outside shots last season and can shoot it from out of the corner consistently.
