Joe Berry, 6’3, G, 2021, Washburn Rural
One of the top two-way players in the state, Berry had a terrific summer playing up an age level with KC Team Yobo’s 17U squad. He has a basketball frame with long arms, broad shoulders and can play above the rim at both ends of the court. Berry has a smooth feel to the floor and can get to the basket and connect from nearly anywhere he pulls up from. An impressive talent with a high IQ and a high ceiling to his game.
Isiah Esquibel, 6’3, G, 2021, Topeka
A talented lead guard who brings a nice combination of size and skill to the floor. He reads defenses well and shows a high IQ and the ability to create for himself and others. He runs the floor well and has a strong and rangy 6’3 frame with long arms and a great basketball touch to his game. He does the little things at a high level and shows out in the biggest moments.
Ty Henry, 6’1, G, 2021, Seaman
Henry played up an age group some for the Kansas Hoggs as he has good speed and an ability to score when the entire team is struggling to connect. Henry is a thin guard who can handle the ball for himself and can create and make good passes when the pressure is strong on the perimeter. He is at his best from 3-point range. A solid overall player.
Jack Hutchinson, 5’11, G, 2021, Hayden
A standout for SSA Elite Black 16U, Hutchinson looked to showcase his athleticism and flexibility during several summer tournaments. He can adjust his shot when he feels coverage inside and has a great knack for play under the basket. He can connect from a distance and also has good handles and makes good decisions with the ball in his hands.
Jeremy Kendrick, 5’9, G, 2021, Highland Park @Jeremy08065284
Kendrick a smaller guard who has great speed and quickness on both sides of the ball. He can handle the ball and moves well as a creator and facilitator. He can slip through coverage and get to the basket and score, but also connect from deep when he has an open shot and is feeling confident.
Charles Snyder, 6’5, F, 2021, Emporia
One of the state’s top forwards in the 2021 class, Snyder has a nice post-up game and the ability to shoot jumpers in the mid-range area. He can also step out and shoot the 3 or even put it on the floor a little.Snyder is a tough, well-built player who works hard in the trenches and looks to showcase his hustle and overall work ethic.
