Arkansas Valley-Chisholm Trail Division IV
Andale (18-3, 9-0), Clearwater (7-13, 3-6), Mulvane (6-16, 3-7), Rose Hill (13-8, 6-3), Wellington (4-16, 2-8), Wichita Collegiate (11-10, 5-3)
Drake Beatty, 6’0, G, 2020, Clearwater
A solid 3-point shooter who can fill out a stat sheet in a hurry. He has solid handles and can put the ball on the floor and get to the basket. He looks to pass when a teammate has a better look, but is capable of stepping back and letting it fly from several feet behind the 3-point line.
Baron Biermann, 5’10, G, 2020, Andale
Biermann is a smooth lead guard who can handle the ball, get his teammates involved and plays tough, hard-nosed defense. He is quick on his feet and can stay in front of the ball and force turnovers as he looks to play close and in the face of his opponents. On offense he looks to distribute the ball first, but shows good decision making in the lane and on the move.
Tanner Meyer, 6’2, G, 2021, Wellington
A nice guard who can see time as a shooting guard or as the point, Meyer is a good-sized athlete who understands his role and how to put his team in a positive position. Meyer can use his handles to get to the basket and is good at finishing plays and getting to the free throw line. He can score from distance when he’s dialed in and he also can play strong defense on the perimeter.
Jack Nilles, 6’3, G, 2020, Andale
A strong player who can show up on either side of the floor. He defends well and moves his feet and looks to contest shots. He can connect when he’s open and can get inside and score some as well.
Zach Trotter, 6’3, G, 2021, Clearwater
A solid outside shooter who has good form and a quick release. Trotter has a good listed height at 6’3 and he uses his size to an advantage on the perimeter and inside around the glass. He has good length and plays strong defense looking to get a hand on the ball and breakup plays.
