Arkansas Valley-Chisholm Trail Division IV
Andale (18-3, 9-0), Clearwater (7-13, 3-6), Mulvane (6-16, 3-7), Rose Hill (13-8, 6-3), Wellington (4-16, 2-8), Wichita Collegiate (11-10, 5-3).
Tanner Cash, 6’2, F, 2021, Clearwater
Cash is a two-way performer who looks to play strong defense when the ball comes inside and also looks to score and or give his teammates an open look. He is a good rebounder and can get to the basket and use the glass for an easy bucket.
Thornton Cole, 6’8, PF, 2020, Wichita Collegiate
A nice post option for Collegiate who has great size and solid length. He’s listed at 6’8 making him a target near the basket and a problem for opponents looking to find space in the paint. Cole is also a good rebounder on both sides of the floor and a shot blocker.
Cole Landers, 6’1, G/F, 2020, Andale @clanders18
An all-conference selection last season, Landers is a tough, hard-nosed defensive-minded player who works hard at both ends of the court. Also a football standout, Landers can knock down open shots, runs the floor exceptionally well and works hard on the boards at both ends of the court.
Mason Lane, 6’7, F, 2020, Rose Hill
Lane is an interesting football prospect where he brings terrific size and athleticism but also made his mark as a basketball player last year as a junior and has a chance at putting together a breakout season for the Rockets in 2019-20. He has terrific size at 6’7 and good speed and mobility inside and out. He can make plays near the basket well and can also move outside and score and he also makes a lot of noise as a defender and rebounder.
Jake Wellington, 6’1, F, 2021, Clearwater
A skilled player who plays above his listed height. He has good footwork and shows he can shake off defenders and get an open shot a few feet from the basket. He has good handles and can connect from a distance, often several feet behind the line.
