Xavier Bell, 6’4, G, 2020, Andover Central
Bell is one of the state’s top two-sport players as he also excels on the football field where he has drawn some Division I interest. On the hardwood, he has drawn several offers and has a terrific all-around game. Blessed with good size, Bell is a strong point guard who can attack the basket, score in the lane and has become a knock down outside shooter as well. He averaged a team-high 20.4 ppg last season while adding 6.1 rebounds and 3.1 assists.
Jack Johnson, 6’2, G, 2021, Andover
One of state’s top returning players in his class, Johnson spent much of the offseason playing up an age group with the NLHA 17U squad. He is a knock down outside shooter and brings some all-around guard skill to the floor, whether it’s handling the ball, attacking the basket or locking down at the defensive end of the court. He has added some size and strength and is a strong athlete with a bright future.
Harper Jonas,. 6’4, G/F, 2020, Andover @harperjonas11
One of Kansas most versatile wing players in the 2020 class, Jonas has a big, athletic frame and a well-rounded skill set to boot. He is coming off a strong summer running with NLHA 17U squad and is poised for a big senior season. Jonas is a strong transition player, capable of running the floor and finishing in traffic. He can defend multiple positions, is a solid rebounder and moves well off the ball. He recently picked up an offer from Nebraska Wesleyan.
Trey Reid, 6’2, G, 2020, Maize South @TreyReid23
One of the state’s top scoring lead guard, Reid can play either guard spot, can lead a team at the point, or put the ball in the basket. He handles it well, can break down defenders off the bounce and is a terrific outside shooter. Reid is crafty in the lane and can finish with a wide array of runners and floaters. Reid put together a strong summer running with NLHA and is coming off a big junior season at South, averaging 18.4 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.4 assists and led the Mavericks with 28 3-pointers.
Jordan Vincent, 6’3, G, 2020, Eisenhower @jordanvincent02
Vincent has earned a reputation as one of the state’s top returning guards after averaging 24.2 points, 5.6 rebounds and 6.0 assists per game last season. Blessed with long arms, good size and a well-rounded offensive skill set, Vincent is a strong defensive player who uses his length to get in the passing lanes. He is coming off a strong summer playing with KC Run GMC and recently committed to play at Emporia State.
