PLAYER OF THE YEAR – Shilo Bowles
A budding post prospect who is coming off a big summer, Bowles averaged 15.4 points and 8.0 rebounds per game last season while playing alongside POY Jacob Fierst. The raw 6-foot-7 senior is a high-motor, athletic forward who can dominate a game around the rim, but has also developed the perimeter skills to turn himself into a mismatch nightmare.
BREAKOUT PLAYER – Ashton Janowski
Janowski proved to be a top 15 prospect in the state after a fine travel season. Playing big minutes as a freshman, Janowski was an honorable mention All-Conference pick a year ago. A high-IQ point guard who’s explosive on the ball, Janowski is in store for a big season for Pewaukee, who is loaded with underclassmen talent.
SURPRISE PLAYER – Josh Crubaugh
Crubaugh averaged just shy of seven points per game as a sophomore. Likely to take a big step for Eisenhower this season, Crubaugh is a knockdown shooter with terrific range. The Lions have plenty returning from last season, so Crubaugh’s numbers may not go way up, but this is a prospect that other teams need to be aware of this season.
