PLAYER OF THE YEAR – Carter Gilmore
Gilmore just does it all. Not only does he consistently flirt with triple-doubles, the Wisconsin walk-on commit makes everyone around him better. A true point forward, Gilmore averaged 19.9 points per game last season.
BREAKOUT PLAYER – Marshawn Robinson
From a talent standpoint, Robinson is unquestionably a top five player in the conference. He’s going to have one of the more difficult jobs in the conference this season with so much falling on his shoulders and not a lot of talent around him. An explosive, two-way guard, Robinson averaged 7.7 points per game as a freshman and will look to help the Blackshirts turn things around after a 4-20 season.
SURPRISE PLAYER – Daivon Winters – Waukesha North
We saw this guy at the Prep Hoops Top250 camp and he can flat out play. One of the reasons we’re so high on Waukesha North this season is the development of Winters. Averaging 10.3 ppg as a junior, Winter is a plus-length athletic guard who can take people to the rim and create off the bounce.
