#4 Keyon Garrett-Miller – 5’10 PG 2023 – Southport (IN)
Keyon is a really quick lead guard with some vision and skill to deal with. He can really, really push the tempo and has touch on his jumper. Like the release on his shot, high and repeatable. He showed he was willing to play both ends of the court and could be a high-end defender with time.
#28 Jamie Hodges Jr. – 5’7 PG 2023 – Michigan City (IN)
Jamie is a small but lightning quick point guard with shot-making ability and some flash. He was great in this event showcasing really good touch on his jumper where he was knocking down off the catch and with creativity. His step-back jumper is already a pretty good weapon for him. He’s a tone-setter who is going to annoy defenses for a long time.
#31 DeSean Foster – 5’8 PG 2023 – Hammond (IN)
DeSean is a tough guard who can do a lot of things right now. Mostly, he is a grinder, willing to work the boards and in the paint for second chance points. Got some transition buckets as well but he’s that guy that makes his own opportunities. Does have the toughness for him to be a long term contributor in the rebounding and defensive categories.
#52 Connor Hussong – 6’1 SG 2023 – Oak Hill (IN)
Connor is a lefty guard with a fairly balanced game already. He can slash and shoot, showing a little more toughness than his frame would have made you think. His ball handling is pretty good and should be able to develop a ton more as a driving threat. Wouldn’t surprise if long term he ends up more of a point guard.
#54 Caleb Cheatham – 6’1 SG 2023 – Martinsville (IN)
Caleb is a big guard with some strength and a frame that is going to be tough down the road. He did a lot of his work on drives and slashing to the rim. Handles the ball okay and can really get to the middle of the floor well. Mixed in a couple plays including a back-down block shot that was impressive. Might have some positional versatility later on.
#81 Jayden Pinkston – 6’3 SF 2023 – Indianapolis Tindley (IN)
Jayden is an athletic wing with bounce and some speed in the lane. He’s more of a slasher/driver right now but he is so strong and athletic that you really can’t stop him all that much. One of the better physically looking players from the event and as we saw, he’s going to be an impact scorer early on. Still need to see if he can shoot but he’s got a ton of other skills.
#82 Clay Richards – 6’3 SF 2023 – Carmel (IN)
Clay is a big guard who can play either the 2/3 spots right now. A little strength already and he does use it well. Good rebounder who will go outside of his area to track it down but quick enough that he can get out and run. Jumper looks okay but did a lot more of his work in the paint. Had a really nice weakside block. Will be very interesting if he grows some more.
#83 Peyton Bledsoe – 6’3 SG 2023 – Loogootee (IN)
Peyton is a big guard who can really let it fly. Plays like one of those that can get hot in a minute. He’s got the body of an upperclassmen and might have some room still to go. He has the handles to create a bit, having a couple nice little step back moves along with a ton of shots off the catch. Everything here says high-end scoring guard.
#101 Ty Cunningham – 5’10 PG 2023 – Lawrence North (IN)
Ty is a solid guard who should stay on the ball. He has some legit length and a body that will grow. A bit raw on the offensive end right now with his touch but his length and speed with be very interesting long term. Did have a couple plays with his defense that was helpful.
#110 Jake Davis – 6’5 PF 2023 – Mt. Vernon-Fortville (IN)
Jake is tall wing forward who is built to play more on the perimeter right now. He tends to float outside and while he’s going to take some shots from outside, he did show that he can pick and choose his spots to drive and had some effectiveness with it. Might grow a little more and that could help push him to more of a 4-man down the road.
