PF Omaha Biliew (Dowling Catholic, IA – 2023)
Biliew was named the MVP of the camp and there was no question that he deserved it. He was the best prospect at the camp and by a pretty sizeable margin. The Iowa 6’7” four man has such a versatile game. He handles it extremely well and is a threat to score from anywhere on the court. Biliew showcased that in the Top 30 game where he was dominant in stretches with his combination of strength in the paint and feathery jump shot from three. Hit tough turnaround fadeaways and hook shots inside. Monster on the glass and protecting the rim. Potential #1 overall nationally.
SF Dallas Bear (Cedar Falls, IA – 2023)
Bear is a 6’5” sharp shooting wing from Iowa. Long and rangy prospect that has projectability. Can shoot it from deep, but when defenders close hard on him he goes by them for runners in the paint.
PG Taison Chatman (Totino-Grace, MN – 2023)
This was my first look at Chatman and I came away impressed with the 6’3” Minnesota guard. Bouncy combo guard with excellent size. Smooth feel for the game and is a sound mid-range shooter. Handles it with ease weaving in and out of the defense. Tons of physical upside and he is already extremely skilled at a young age. Could be the next star guard to come out of Minnesota.
PG Ashton Williamson (Calumet New Tech, IN – 2023)
Rangy 6’2” combo guard that plays with speed. He has a burst with the ball in his hands in the open floor and accelerating in the half court. Threw a couple bullet passes for assists.
PF Kyle Pock (Bolivar, MO – 2023)
Crafty scoring post player that is a tough finisher on the interior.
C Gus Yalden (Xavier, WI – 2023)
This 6’8” post is a thick bodied five man that rebounds well on the offensive glass and was a tough post defender. Efficient with a soft touch on the interior.
SF Sosthene Kamba (Ballard, KY – 2023)
Kamba is a big and athletic small forward at 6’6. Really bouncy kid that plays hard. Tough defender that is at his best in transition. Had a couple slick and explosive layups. Not a very good shooter at this stage. A lot of intriguing tools here though.
PG Jeremiah Williamson-Johnson (Putnam City North, OK – 2023)
Lead guard with good height at 6’2”. Crafty scorer in the lane that knows how to use his length on both ends of the floor.
PG RJ Taylor (Grand Blanc, MI – 2023)
Point guard that is scrappy on the defensive end. Crisp ball handler that had a couple impressive plays in the lane spinning for scores.
