2020 point guard Austin Robinson – Robinson is a point guard prospect in the 2020 class. He’s a solid shooter and a good passer that moves the ball well. As he works into basketball shape, he should be fun to watch this season.
2020 guard Zack Matthews – Mathews is a combo guard prospect that can score it from 3 and get to the rim. He’ll add solid experience to this team in 2019-20.
2021 guard Walter Ghaffar – Ghaffar is a nice sized guard prospect at 6-foot-2. He joins the squad after spending the 2018-19 season at Fayetteville Academy. He’s an athletic slasher that gets to the rim well off the dribble. He’s also got a solid midrange game to go with his length.
2020 wing/forward Dawson Smith – Smith is one of the top returners from last season’s squad. He’s an active player on the glass and on the perimeter with his ability to knock down the 3-pointer. Smith is headed to Wake Tech already for baseball and should play a solid role on the hardwood.
2022 forward Dylan Wiggins – Wiggins is a versatile forward at 6-foot-5. He’s a solid post presence and is really developing as a shooter on the perimeter. He’s also a big presence on the glass as a rebounder. He’s a prospect to watch in the 2022 class.
2022 forward Trey Fields – Fields is a young, wiry forward with solid potential at about 6-foot-4. He can handle the ball and shoot it from all three levels already. He’s a player that could spend time on both levels at Cleveland this season. As he builds strength and learns to be a factor in the paint, he’s a prospect with a high ceiling.
2022 guard Baron Williams – Williams is a young guard with a high IQ with the ball in his hands. He can shoot the 3-pointer well and is learning how to draw the defense off the drive and get teammates easy shots. He’s a player that could spend another year on JV, but gives this program a bright future in the backcourt. With growth, he’ll become a solid player in his class.
2022 wing Dylan Smith – Smith is a good-sized wing at 6-foot-2 with a solid frame and good strength. He’s an emerging shooter on the perimeter and runs the floor well on the break. He hustles on the boards and brings energy in the paint. He’s another potential player that could spend time on both levels this season.
