Jakeb Kinsey (Shenandoah) 2021
Kinsey filled up the scoring column. He shot the ball very well from three and had several great finishes on the drive. His ability to score in transition and push the tempo was a huge boost for his team.
Gus Etchison (Hamilton Heights) 2021
Etchison’s passing ability really caught my eye this week. He used his athleticism to drive the lane at will, always finding a teammate or finishing himself. The more I watch Etchison, the more I see just how skilled he is. He is on track to have a monster season for Hamilton Heights.
JR Konieczny (South Bend St. Joe) Notre Dame Commit 2021
Konieczny was literally unstoppable. He scored at will and nobody was able to touch him. His skill set combined with his height make him a matchup nightmare for defenders. In the time I was able to see Konieczny he scored from all three levels and rebounded at a very high level.
Tony Perkins (Lawrence North) Iowa Commit 2020
Perkins’s athleticism caught the attention of everybody in the gym. He threw down several big-time dunks and was relentless finishing on the drive. His ability to push the tempo in transition and score from all three levels was impressive.
Jalen Hooks (Franklin Central) 2023
Hooks was once again very impressive. He scored from all three-levels and used his height and athleticism to dominate around the rim. Hooks is one of the state’s top freshman and there is a possibility he could come in and put up big numbers immediately for Franklin Central.
Sincere McMahon (Indy Attucks) Western Illinois Commit 2020
McMahon was flying up and down the court in transition. His ability to score from all three levels off the dribble was very impressive. On the defensive end, McMahon forced several turnovers that led to scores for his team in crunch time.
AJ Lux (Crown Point) 2023
Lux got off to quick start scoring the ball. He shot the ball very well from three and got to the rim with ease. His ability to use his shooting as a threat in the pick and roll game makes him a tough matchup for opponents. Lux has a chance to make a significant contribution for Crown Point this season with his ability to score.
Drake Moore (Morristown) 2021
Moore was one of the most efficient players in the gym. He shot the ball well from the outside and had several nice moves in the post. Moore played his role well and was willing to contribute any way he could.
Dillon Ware (Danville) 2020
Ware’s skillset continues to impress me. He was an absolute nightmare on the glass and showed an array of moves in the post. His ability to score from all three levels really stood out as he hit several shots from deep and dominated on the drive. The improvement in Ware’s game has really shown.
Trey Miller (New Castle) 2022
Miller’s shooting touch was on full display. His ability to get open and knock down shots makes him stand out among everyone else. This was my second opportunity to see Miller in the last two weeks and his outside shot has been phenomenal.
