Will McClendon 6’4 SG Bishop Gorman – McClendon should be considered a shooter simply on the strength of big shots alone. He’s such a versatile player that people don’t think of him as a shooter 1st. He’s at his best in catch and shoot situations, and when game pressure is at its highest.
Ethan Speaker 6’6 SF Boulder City – Prototypical wing shooter. Speaker is great at using screens to free himself. Great shot prep, Speaker understands how to get his feet set, and hands shot ready. He is the type of player that can catch fire in an instant. His size allows him clean looks over the top of most perimeter defenders. He is at his best when shooting off screens.
Dayshawn Wiley 6’3 SG Desert Pines – May be the most athletic of all the shooters. Has terrific lift on his shot. Wiley shot nearly %40 from the 3 last year on a loaded DP team. He is at his best when shooting off the bounce. Uses rhythm dribbles and COD’s well.
Chancelor Johnson 6’2 SG Desert Pines – The smooth lefty is an absolute bucket. Loves the corner 3, Johnson has textbook form, mechanics and release point. He is at his best in catch and shoot situations. You will find him primarily behind the arc, however he does use shot fakes to lift defenders and knock down pull ups.
Kobe Stroughter 5’11 PG Liberty – Speaking of smooth lefties, there’s Stroughter. A combo guard that is a knock down shooter whether off or on the ball. Stoughter has a quick 1st step which forces defenders to give space. That’s all he needs to light fire to the nets. Knock down shooter who is at his best behind the arc after a rhythm dribble.
Coleman Lemke 6’7 SF Faith Lutheran – The tallest shooter in the class is perhaps the most consistent. I watched Lemke time after time this summer hit big shots for his AAU team. Fearless shot maker that loves pressure moments. Lemke is at his best when spotting up in transition.
Joseph Summers 5’10 SG Carson City – Summers is one of the most underrated players in the State. The 5’10 PG utilitizes hesitations, to free himself. A knock down shooter off catch and shoot, however he is equally effective shooting it off the bounce especially in P&R situations.
Cimarron Conriquez 6’1 SG Desert Pines – DP seems to be loaded with juniors as well as with shooters. Add Conriquez to the list of snipers. Ultimate floor space guy that forces players to stay attached. Conriquez is at his best in catch and shoot situations.
Jaydyn Dalton 6’0 PG Spring Valley – Dalton may have the most range out of the group. Routinely launches from behind the NBA 3. Dalton displays textbook form and mechanics on his shot. Combo guard that is at his best when he can utilize rhythm dribbles to get his shot.
Kyle Slvanie 6’1 SG Boulder City – Perhaps no shooter has less of a conscience than Slyvanie. An absolute threat to launch anytime from anywhere. Slvanie is the definition of a streak shooter. If one goes down you can bet that a few more are to follow. At his best when spotting up in transition.
