Malik Abdul Wahid has reached a major milestone in his climb up Wisconsin high school basketball’s totem pole. The Brookfield Central small forward committed to Winona State on Sunday night. Abdul Wahid’s commitment comes after he made the trip to Winona this past weekend. 

“I bonded really well with the team,” Abdul Wahid said. “They are really big on being a student first there and my main goal is to get a degree.” 

He continued to say, “I fit in perfectly with what they want to do. They offered me as a big wing player who can drive it to the hoop, but also shoot the ball when open and pass and give other guys good looks.”
