Smithfield Selma High School 2020 Guard Elijah Weir: Should have a big season for his high school team as he should see quite a bit of time on the court. He has good speed and acceleration and will be able to push the pace as well as defending full court.
Cleveland High 2020 Guard Zack Matthews: Has a strong running back type of build to his body, so contact doesn’t bother him much. Quick first step and nice end to end speed, a player that can get a bunch of buckets when he gets it going.
North Johnston High 2020 Guard Justin Vann: Certain players find ways to impact the game regardless of the amount of touches they get and he is one of those players. He has some solid athletic ability and understands how to use it to come up with rebounds which helps to provide his team with extra possessions.
Clayton HS 2020 Wing Joquan Ross: JUCO programs that are look for an athletic player with solid potential should give him a look. He’s a high flyer that has plenty of the tools to be successful and showed some flashes of how good he could be throughout the day.
Clayton HS 2021 Guard Justin Bell: He’s a name that you’ve heard of before not only with his high school team but also because of the monster numbers he put up in the JD Lewis Fall League. Bell was constantly attacking his defenders and playing through all types of contact. D2 programs should be keeping a close eye on him over the next few years.
Clayton High School 2020 Forward Xavier Bailey: We like the impact that he made on games with his rebounding and solid defense. He’s plays the games on his toes and reacts quickly to plays as well as doing a good job of anticipating plays before they happen.
