He later proved that he was not a one-hit-wonder by continuing his great play throughout the spring and summer. Hamilton’s great performance on the AAU Cricut necessitated college interest and some well-deserved notoriety.
Following a stellar performance at Wisconsin’s Top 250 Expo, Prep Hoops Wisconsin was able to get in contact with one of LaCrosse Logan’s top prospects.
We noticed how much Hamilton improved over the course of the spring and summer (he noticed this, too). It didn’t matter where the tournament was, or how well his team was performing. If there was another player across from him, the SF came ready to play.
“This summer to me felt like a big opportunity to show my versatility and what I am capable of as a player. As the summer went on I definitely noticed an improvement in my athleticism and how it helped my game grow in many aspects. Overall this summer gave me a big confidence boost for what is to come in my future basketball career.
After a tremendous AAU season, Hamilton will now turn to his senior season at La Crosse Logan.
“I have many goals for myself and my team this year, which includes making my teammates and myself better, all-conference, all-state, all academics team, conference championship, state championship, improve my status as a top 2020 Prospect, and commit to the best match college program for me.”
Some of these goals are more ambitious than others, but they are all achievable.
The LaCrosse Logan forward said that one of his goals was to find the right college program. While he said that he would like to keep the specific names of the schools recruiting him private, Hamilton did say that he has earned some interest. “I’ve had some offers but I have also received interest from schools at all levels from D1 to Junior College.”
Jacksun Hamilton proved how talented he was over the summer. Now, he will have something to prove in the winter.
