2021 Ben Hines, Cavaliers
Ben Hines was electric for his Cavaliers squad in Week 2 as they’re currently 4-0 in league play. Hines posted a triple-double in their win over the 118-60, putting up 42 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists while shooting 8-of-15 (53.3 percent) from behind the arc. In their second game of Week 2, he put up 36 points while shooting 6-of-10 from behind the arc. He’s currently third in the league in scoring at 35.5 points per game to go along with 7.3 rebounds and 5.8 assists.
2021 Will Felton, Cavaliers
Will Felton is terrorizing his opponents through two weeks of fall league. Felton is currently averaging 39.3 points and 20.5 rebounds per contest as a monster force on the interior. The Millbrook big man posted games of 23 points and 24 rebounds and 42 points and 27 rebounds in Week 2 as the Cavaliers routed both the Nuggets and Celtics. He continues to impress with his ability.
2023 Will Otto, Cavaliers
Will Otto is in a perfect situation with the Cavaliers in fall league. As the proverbial “third option”, Otto is already putting up 28.5 points, 12.3 assists and 7.0 rebounds per game. He put up his first triple-double on the young season against the Celtics with 33 points, 14 assists and 14 rebounds while shooting 13-of-21 (61.9 percent) from the floor. It’s hard to find a better trio in the league.
2021 Owen Woznichak, Heat
Owen Woznichak has been a double-double machine through two weeks in the J.D. Lewis Fall League. He’s posted three double-doubles so far in his first four appearances for the Heat. In Week 2, he posted games of 11 points and 17 rebounds against the Warriors and 29 points and 15 rebounds against the Spurs. He’s a player slowly growing as one that can fly around the court for points and rebounds.
2022 Brandon Huffstetler, Heat
Brandon Huffstetler is already shooting the cover off the ball through Week 2. He shot 13-of-20 from behind the arc and averaged 24 points per contest in fall league action. On the season, he’s shooting 25-of-46 (54.3 percent) from 3-point land. He’s a sharpshooter to watch already.
2021 Nick Boone, Suns
Nick Boone is off to a strong start in fall league action. Boone put up his second double-double of the season in Week 2 with a 27-point, 12-rebound effort against the Nets. It came in a close loss but the big man has folks on notice that he’s a force to be reckoned with in the paint.
