Dontrez Styles can be as good as he wants to be! Styles was a late addition to the camp but came in as the most highly recruited and did not disappoint! His versatility is something that you have to love, at 6’7 he has the skillset to play just about every position on the court. There were times at camp where he ran the PG for his squad , and other moments where he dominated in the post.
Sanderson HS Forward Tylan Green is a prospect that programs at the D2 level should be keeping an eye on! At about 6’5 with a long wingspan, high motor and athletic ability, Green is a player that is constantly making plays on both ends. The amount of blocked shots, rebounds and finishes in the paint he had throughout the day was impressive.
Westover HS Wing D’Marco Dunn is a D1 prospect! Dunn already holds an offer from UTEP but this is his first time that many in NC got the chance to see him. He has a smooth game and doesn’t allow himself to get sped up or rushed at all. Keep an eye on him this season as he should have some big time games for Westover.
South Granville 2020 Forward Wy’kise Allen: For the first time in Fab 40 Camp history, a player won MVP, Three Point Contest and was on the championship squad. Allen is a player that has received interest from colleges on various levels and you could see why. He showed the ability to score in multiple ways as well as rebounding the ball at a nice rate. If I’m a JUCO program, I’m on Allen early and trying to lock down a commitment sooner than later.
Greenfield School 2020 Forward Trey Pittman: There is plenty to like about Trey and D2 programs should be making the drive to The Greenfield School on a regular basis this year. A legit 6’7 that you play at the Stretch Forward spot, he showed a bit of all the different parts of his game. Knock down shooting from three point land while also being comfortable with playing with his back to the basket in the post. He displayed a nice IQ, good footwork and outstanding rebounding throughout the day.
Trinity Christian 2021 Forward Rob Wright Jr: These days it’s rare to see a player that doesn’t mind banging and bruising inside of the paint. However that’s exactly the type of playing style that you will see from him. He constantly was creating and playing through contact inside the paint to be productive for his team.
